albums π β
Albums are how poidh organizes coordination.
Communities naturally form around shared interests, goals, and ideas about what work matters.
Albums give those communities a place to organize related bounties, discover new opportunities, and build shared context around the outcomes they want to create.
Today, albums help organize bounties.
Over time, they'll become one of the most customizable and community-driven parts of the poidh experience.

The public goods album is where we organize bounties focused on improving local communities
what is an album? β
An album is a collection of related bounties organized around a shared topic, project, community, or idea.
Think of an album as a home for a specific area of coordination.
For example, an album might be dedicated to:
Instead of searching through every bounty on poidh, albums let people explore the areas they care about most.
They help contributors discover communities, understand what work is happening, and participate in coordination around topics they care about.

albums are a coordination layer β
The internet is full of communities.
Each community has different goals, different interests, and different ideas about what kinds of work are valuable.
Albums allow those communities to organize coordination around their own interests.
Rather than poidh deciding how everything should be categorized, albums create spaces where communities can naturally form around the work they want to see happen.
Albums are not meant to impose structure on coordination.
They are meant to help communities create their own structure.
a flexible layer on top of the protocol β
Albums are an organizational feature of the poidh.xyz experience.
They exist as an offchain coordination layer built on top of the poidh protocol.
Bounties do not require an album to exist.
At the protocol level, bounties are independent objects and there is no onchain album classification.
This allows albums to evolve quickly as a community feature without limiting how bounties are created or used across the protocol.
coordination should be customizable β
One of poidh's long-term goals is to make coordination itself customizable.
Different communities want different things.
Some may want to focus on open source development.
Others may care about local events, research, education, art, or environmental projects.
Rather than forcing every community into the same experience, poidh is designed to become increasingly configurable over time.
Based off Reddit's "subreddit" design, albums are the foundation of that vision.
They provide a starting point for communities to create their own coordination spaces while still benefiting from the broader poidh ecosystem.
the long-term vision β
Our goal is for album communities to eventually have a level of control comparable to moderators on platforms like Discord or Reddit.
That could include things like:
- Custom album branding
- Descriptions and welcome pages
- Banner images and icons
- Featured bounties
- Moderator teams
- Album-specific rules
- Curation tools
- Community settings
- Dedicated AI agents
- Additional customization options
Every community coordinates differently.
Albums should eventually reflect that.
community ownership β
Today, albums don't have owners or special permissions.
Anyone can create bounties and participate in coordination on poidh.
As album management features are introduced, we expect ownership and moderation permissions to be granted based on meaningful participation within that community.
While the exact system is still being designed, likely signals include:
- Who created early bounties within an album
- Who has consistently contributed to its growth
- Who has been most active within that community
The goal isn't simply to reward whoever was first.
It's to recognize the people who genuinely helped build the community.
As with many parts of poidh, this system will evolve based on feedback and real-world usage.
building the future of coordination β
The internet already has communities.
What it lacks is a shared way for those communities to coordinate around outcomes.
Albums are one part of that answer.
Today they're a way to organize and discover bounties.
Tomorrow they'll become customizable coordination hubsβplaces where communities can shape how they collaborate, reward contributions, and grow together.
We're building toward a future where every community on the internet can make poidh their own.
